What is so good about this game? The multiplayer part.

I haven't found any challenging quests, despite having a capable party of 45 men, I'm not impressive enough to be given even a measly job by the king, and all bandits seem to outrun me. I've had next to 0 fun playing it, so far the only real battle I had was the tutorial quest that you get every time you start a new character. Of course, I go there, and he tells me to 'lol get some skill, kid' or something like that. I've also tried to to sign up for the king's war, because every tavern owner in the region says I should. So it's back to town to get a better horse, and try to find them again. Eventually I found a quest - to kill some deserters, I had to wait forever for them to show up in the area, and then when I try to chase them, they outrun me.

When I go see a tavern keeper, I'm told to go find x to get a quest, okay then, that means finding out where their last known location is, and chasing them halfway across the region to catch up. I've never been so bored while playing a game. On the rare occasion they do have a job for me, it's a boring "hey, get us 6 heads of cattle", or "deliver a note to Jarl Dave". My main issue with the game is I struggle to find quests, I see village elders, guild masters, kings, counts, jarls - almost always when I ask for a job, they'll say they don't have any. So far, I'm finding this game completely boring: the combat is something which I find really fun, but other than that, it's just boring and lacking. Considering each gameplay is different, it’s possible that my style of playing Mount & Blade does not include all variants related to honor in the game. So, being as everybody and their dog says the game is brilliant, I picked it up on the Steam sale. This means that if you read somewhere that a specific action will yield you honor in Mount & Blade and it isn’t included in my guide, then it’s probably because that only works in Mount & Blade: Warband and NOT in Mount & Blade.Īlso my guide probably won’t cover everything, because Mount & Blade is such a complex game, and I’ve written this guide out of experience. This guilde will cover honor in Mount & Blade, NOT in Mount & Blade: Warband. While they have similarities, not everything works exactly the same. There are two different games: Mount & Blade and Mount & Blade: Warband. All about renown in Mount & Blade Regarding the difference between Mount & Blade and Mount & Blade: Warband
